February Meeting Notes and Activist Calendar

Dear Members:

I first want to apologize for canceling last nights meeting, but I thought it would be best due to the weather conditions.

The issues that were to be discussed:

A follow up to the woman’s march on Washington etc. and following events:

I participated with the Woman’s march on Washington, where 6 buses left from Kingston NY. It was a very special experience to be surrounded by all that female energy.  I was also very happy to see many men involved as well.  There were people of all ages, religious and ethnic backgrounds. Upon return many groups have organized to discuss and take further actions. Attached is a calendar of activities prepared by Ashley Dittus.

The purpose of our committee is to help potential candidates to participate and get into office, with a special interest in helping women.

We have local elections every year, please support anyone that wants to be a part of this process. If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
